In college, Study and research facilities are available in various subjects at different levels.

Ph. D.  (Research Degree)

The college offers facilities for research in subjects such as Hindi, English, Geography, Defense Studies, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Mathematics, etc. Those students who have obtained 55 percent or more marks in the postgraduate class can register for a research degree (Ph.D.) by fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and formalities prescribed by the university.

Postgraduate level

The college offers facilities for studying the following subjects at the postgraduate level in all three branches -

1. Arts Branch (M.A.)

2. Science Branch (M.Sc.)

3. Commerce Branch (M.Com.)

The college offers facilities for studying M.Com. in the Commerce branch.

Undergraduate level

 Art Branch - The college offers undergraduate classes in subjects like Hindi, English, Geography, Economics, History, Defense Studies, Political Science, Sanskrit, Sociology, and Mathematics.

Science Branch offers classes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany

Commerce Branch offers classes in Commerce Group, Account Group, and Management Group.

B.Ed. studies have also been started at the undergraduate level in the Education Branch from the academic year 2009-2010. The admission process for this is conducted separately according to the standards set by the state government.

From the academic year 2015-16, the college also offers the facility of studying B.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Com. under the self-financed scheme.

From the academic year 2023-24, the college also offers two professional courses : Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) under the self- financed scheme.

Note:

1. B.Ed. students must choose three subjects from the available subjects mentioned above.

2. They are not allowed to take three literary (Hindi, Sanskrit, English) subjects simultaneously.

3. Only those students who have passed the Intermediate examination with Mathematics as a subject are allowed to take Mathematics in B.A.

4. The subjects selected in the first year of B.A. will have to be taken in the second year as well.

Remarks

  1. M.A. Mathematics classes are conducted along with M.Sc. Mathematics classes, and the same curriculum is followed.
  2. Optional course classes will only be conducted if at least 10 students choose that course. Optional subjects in departments are taught according to specific subjects. Fill out the optional subject exam form as per the rules of the respective department. Students may be excluded from the exam in other courses.
