Shri Saraswati Vidyalaya Post Graduate College, Hapur. (affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut) was established by Shree Shiksha Prasar Samiti (Regd.) Hapur, It is a prestigious institution catering the educational needs of both rural and urban youth.

B.Ed. Department situated in the beautiful courtyard of nature under a self-financed scheme, came into existence by the Shiksha Prasar Samiti in the year 2008 by the efforts of Late Shri Satendra Aggarwal (Chawani Wale) and ever since then the department has been pacing fast to reach the greater heights of excellence in the field of teacher education. It is approved by NCTE, Jaipur and affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut (Affiliated by Uttar Pradesh Government letter no.-258/70-2-2008-2 (489)/2008 Dated 7 Feb.2008, and NCTE letter no.-F. No./ NRC/NCTE/F-3/UP2572/142nd Meeting /2009/4997-5003 Dated 20.06.2009 with an annual intake of 100 seats from the academic session 2009-2010)

He believed that by setting up this course in the institution, students of all the sections of society would be able to undertake higher studies and be able to contribute to the Nation building process.

B.Ed. programme is a holistic one, aimed at developing the intellectual and personal strengths of pupil-teachers which takes place both within and outside the classroom, nurturing creativity and innovation through challenging project work and participative 2 learning. As each individual is unique and approaches life in a different manner, we allow them to choose their own pathways based on their interest.
