Background    

In accordance with the goal, principles, and methodology envisioned by the founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907, the Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for youth that is accessible to all without discrimination of origin, race, or creed.

Objectives:

The Movement's goal is to assist young people in realizing their full personal, civic, social, and spiritual potentials as members of their local, national, and global communities as well as individuals.

Principles:

The following beliefs form the foundation of the Rovers/Rangers Movement.

  1. Duty to God:
     Adherence to spiritual values, fidelity to the religion that upholds them, and acceptance of the obligations that follow.
  2. Duty to Others:
    Adherence to national loyalty, promotion of regional, societal, and global harmony and cooperation. participation in the social growth of society while acknowledging and respecting the worth of one's fellow human beings and the integrity of nature.   
  3. Duty to Self: 
    Taking charge of one's own growth.

A Rover crew is under the leadership of Rover Leader and Ranger team is under the leadership of ranger leader registered in college. In 2021, one rover crew and one ranger team were initially registered. Each team can have at least 24 volunteers.

Major Activities Undertaken

  1. 3 Days Camp of Rovers/Rangers: (14 Mar 2022 to 16 Mar 2022)
